For this specific Kriek, we have macerated sour cherries for more than ten months on young lambik. We blended with young and two-year-old lambik. The lambikken that we used originate from seven different barrels and six different brews. For half of these brews, we used local Pajot cereals, cultivated in the most natural way, with respect for soil and farmer. The final fruit intensity is 328 grams of sour cherries per litre of Kriek.

0,75l bottle at home. Bottled 26.11.2020. deep red color, small white head. smells funky, cherry notes, cherry pits, earthy, grassy. nice to very nice smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes citric, salty, cherry notes, peppery, grassy, earthy. finishes dry, salty and lightly sour with notes of salt, citrus and peppery notes. I rather like this one, but it tastes rather heavily salted. Not sure if that is just my perception, or its actually a thing. Definitly takes away from the usual 3f lactic fruit sourness.
