From tap at De Wildeman. Pours hazy dark brown with a thick, tan and creamy head. Aroma is solid pineneedle and grapefruity hoppy. Smooth hoppy, peachy to mango, smooth, bitter, light toasted malty and crisp bitter. Smooth fruity finish. Ends dry and malty.

On tap at The Wildeemaan, Amsterdam, Netherlands on Saturday 01.10.11 Tricky to drink alongside the Laphroig BA Imp stout from Emelisse. However it is a very nice beer, soft mouthfeel, with a pleasant light citrus streak throughout, light bitterness, tasty good IPA. A6 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.7

Tried this beer at Gouda Winterbierfestival 2011. It had floating hop parts in it, so it didn’t really make me eager to taste it. That observation prooved correct: not a nice taste. Didn’t appear nor taste like a black IPA to me.

33 bottle @ PRZH Winterbierfest (Brewed especially for this occasion). Dubbed a CBA (Centennial Black Ale). Almost black color. Aroma’s citrus/ grapefruit, spicy hops, roast. Flavor somewhat sweet & bitter. Finishes bitter with hints of bitter chocolate & coffee. Pretty good.
