Made with 5 malts, this is a sessionable Milk Porter! Speciality Belgian and German malts combine to add to the smooth finish with notes of dried fruit and caramel.

440ml can from Port Bierhaus. Dark brown colour, foamy beige head and aroma of malt, fruity. Taste is sweet, malt, dried fruit, caramel with mellow bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, malty bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.

Tried at the 2022 Nottingham Camra Beer Festival. Jet black colour with a slim head. Aroma and taste are malty and slight fruity sweet. Bitter finish. Medium body.

440ml can purchased from the brewery and drunk at home. Dark brown and only slightly translucent with a large loose khaki head. Big malty aroma, chocolate Horlicks and earthy notes. Sweet taste with notes of plum and cola alongside the malty flavours. Bitterness in the long finish, with more stone fruit and some ash. Body’s a bit thin. Very good overall.
