33cl fles van Alkmaars Koffiehuis. 9%, gebrouwen bij Brouwschuur. Zwart, beige-bruine kraag. Heerlijk aroma van koffie, vanille, gebrande mout, licht gerookt, leer en pure chocolade. Smaak is medium zoet, vanille, koffie met suiker, gebrande mout en chocolade, vrij bitter. Volle body, romig. Erg lekker.

Zeglis Temeer Vanillestout, 9 %. Opaque colour, small brownish head. Roasted, cocoa, vanilla, some alcohol in the nose. Medium-bodied. Flavour is similar: roasted with vanilla, vanilla sugar and cocoa. Smooth clean flavour. Nice.

Bottle 330ml. shared @ BAF! 2018 [ Borefts After Festival ] @ Brouwerij Kaapse, Veerlaan 19-D, Rotterdam, Netherlands 3072 AN.[ As Zeglis Temeer - Vanillestout ].Clear dark black brown colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, molasses, chocolate, vanilla, dark malt, milk chocolate. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, vanilla, dark malt, chocolate, milk chocolate, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20180923] 7-3-7-4-15

Thuis gedeeld uit een flesje op 27-10-18 met Huub. Chocolade in het aroma, mooie bijna zwarte kleur, weinig schuim helaas, maar een uitstekende volle smaak. Erg lekker.

Bottle shared with Joost @his place. Almost black, small frothy tan head, mostly diminishing, light lacing. Aroma roasted and smoked malts, vanilla, more coffee than cocoa, caramel. Taste light heavy sweet and medium bitter, roasted malts, coffee, light vanilla, toffee, some cocoa powder, smoky notes. Roasted sweetbitter aftertaste, coffee, toffee. Rich and tasty.

Bottle @ home. [No idea how I distinguish between the regular and the "no 2 version"] Brown to dark brown color, medium sized beige to light brown colored head. Aroma is not at all what I would call a "vanilla stout". Flavor too. A little more vanilla in the flavor, yes, but the beer is dominated by brown malts, smoke, smoked bacon. Thin texture, low to average body, soft carbonation. I don’t like it at all. Pretty crappy.
