Sampled @ Billie's Craft Beer Fest 2024, Friday. A very dark brown beer with a beige lacing. Aroma and Taste of boozy dark malt, caramel, raisins, red fruits.

Sample at Billie's Craft Beer Fest, Antwerp 2024-11-08. Black with aroma of peated malt, roasted malt, peach, coconut and tangerine. Very sweet, light bitter and light salty.

Draught Head gone in secs over pitch-black beer. Faint fruity notes on burnt grains. Very sweet roast, meatroast, candied apples, waffle syrup, brown candi sugar, Tarte Tatin. Very stick MF, sugaroverload, in effect no carbonation. A tad too sweet to my liking.

Panda 🐼 at home big thanks to Wingmane. A Dark brown black coloured pour with a mid tan head. Aroma is nice treacle apple, tangy apple, brown malts, burnt sugars. Flavour is composed of medium sweet, brown sugars, brandy snap sugars, toffee apple, light smoke. Palate is medium sweet, sticky brown malts, moderate carbonation.

Panda at home, thanks to the Wingmane, 17/12/22. Black with a tan cap. Nose is dark malts, mellow roast, light spice, dried fruit esters, soft stoned fruits. Taste comprises sweet malts, chocolate, toffee, brown sugar melt, molasses, dried fruit rinds, spice, light smoke, mellow roast, prunes, dates, fleshy fruit notes. Full bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close with a balanced rising boost. Decent well balanced pastry affair.

Can at home. Pours black, nose is chocolate, plum, roasted, smoky, taste is sweet caramel, chewy, chocolate, smoky, some dark fruit. Not getting a lot of the additions tbh.

440ml can. Pours almost black with a small brown head. Aroma of plum, peach, molasses. Taste is sweet and fruity, lots of plum, peach, molasses, a little chocolate, what's lacking though is the smoke, there's barely any to taste, certainly doesn't warrant the style moniker given on the can. Still, really nice stout. Full bodied.
