Bottle: Poured a golden color ale with a medium size foamy head with limited retention and light lacing. Aroma of funky ester and some oak presence with light rhubarb notes. Taste is a mix of tart notes with some funky ester and some faint rhubarb notes. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Nice Wild saison with rhubarb adding a nice touch. Good drinkability.

Small white head over hazy yellow beer. Dusty clothes, floormop Bretts & lactobacillus. Wild flowers, sweet woodruff. More of the same, but with addition of a certain fruity sweetness, which helps the balance noe end. Rhubarb is almost absent until appearing retronasal, especially in the aftertaste. Yet, is is almost missing the typical rhubarb acidity. Light, acidthinning and light -burn. Mild carbonation. Another very good sour from Robin. Txs to Sylvain D. for bringing!

(On tap @ Foire Brassicole, Quebec City, Oct 1/21) Pours nearly clear pale blush with a small white head. Quite a lot of fragrant fresh rhubarb, very bright especially in the nose, something like pale pink berries or a little rosé wine to the balance, very crispy cereal base, yeast is smooth and peppery/lightly phenoloic and blends in to the lightly biting oak, moderately tart but no more with a bare acetic twang, surprisingly saline mineral profile in the drying finish that makes it crisp with a nice rhubarb-tart close coupled with a soft pepperiness and funk. Light to medium body with average carbonation. Surprisingly well-crafted rhubarb beer, not an easy adjunct to work with in isolation but the package here is very well judged. Need more Robin in my life to be honest.
