At our rented bungalow, schönbrunn area. A classical pils/ lager for drunk or mass people, drinkable, not subtle, watery and smooth, 04.03.20, buying it at one Billa, supermarket, Vienna.
Pour is a bright and clear gold with a large white head. Aroma is a pretty good grainy malt and herbal hop. Flavor is a little light but still a nice grainy malt with enough hops to notice. Probably not up to the standard of best Czech lagers but pretty close.

500ml bottle from Total Wine. Pours a clear gold color with a very large eggshell colored head and great retention. Good lacing. Standard Euro lager aroma. Likewise, standard Euro lager flavor too with only minor sulfer notes. A decent generic lager. Easy drinking. Medium, soft body. Medium carbonation. Low bitterness.

On tap at a bar in Braga, Portugal September 2023. Golden in colour, and with a slight, white, head. A hint of floral hops, ripe lager malts, pleasantly bitter finish. A solid lager.

So, it seems I'm new to the samson thing, this is a Samson 1795 original czech lager. Clear pale, slight orange tint. Big 17 oz green bottle. Pop the lid and you get that typical green euro skunk cabbage smell. First taste is reminiscent of hay like what I get in a fresh straub. pretty good level of carbonation. Goes down rather easy, slight veggie cabbage feel in the middle. I'm appreciating this big ass bottle. If it wasn't for the slight aged cabbage thing going on here in the finish, it would be a pretty good session. Gone before I knew it, somewhat refreshing, clear to the end. Decent session.

Bottle 50 cl, as Vershovice Světlý ležák. Golden, clear, white foam. Aroma: slightly sulphurous and spicy hops with grassy tones, some sweetness and candy malt. Malty taste, light initial sweetness and even a touch of honey, candy, grassy hops, from light to medium bitterness in the finish, clean, overly refined, a little soulless.
