Ember draught, 3/25/23. Lightly hazy, bright lemon. Small, white head, low retention. A bit of yeastiness in there (sweat, sour, fat/oil) but otherwise bright and not overbearing on hops or malt. Citrus and a hint of stone fruit. White bread/cracker malts. Good zippy hops upfront, very lemony with very light sour gummies. Soft, malty texture, good attenuation. Lingering lemon, moderate bitterness. Some almost bitter hop or yeast compounds but it's minimal at least. Otherwise very flavorful and drinkable and balanced.

A: mandarin, pineapple, mango, honey.
T: sweetish mandarin, mango, citrus peel and biscuity malts.

P: medium body, creamy texture, average carbonation.
Refreshing, nicely balanced.

On tap pours out hazy straw topped with a white head. Nose is sweet tropical fruit notes and some citrus. Taste is more of the nice sweet tropical notes and some citrus.

Real Ale, a good brewery in the Hill Country of Texas, NE style IPA, not my favorite. I've got a 12 oz can of Fresh Kicks that was spotted at a close-by supermarket. Pouring inside of a snifter, I see the expected lemon-yellow body with a tremendous head of off-white foam, a heavy pour this time. I like the scent, tropical with a bit of dankness. The taste falls off somewhat, a little bland. Some lemon, hops, varnish, grain and bread. Some sweet, some bitter. Not tripping my trigger.
