16.9 oz. can from the Costco 2025 German Biergarten Collection. Pours a clear gold color with a small khaki head and decent retention. Scattered lacing. Very light aroma of any kind. Maybe some pale malt? Very light pale malt flavor too, with a slightly boozy finish. Tastes like a smoother than average malt liquor. No bad notes; just kinda bland. Medium body and medium-light carbonation. Low bitterness. Okay.

A pretty nice hellar bock. Clear, deep gold in color with a three-finger head. Aroma is grains, slightly fruity and malty. Taste is also slightly fruity with a sweet finish and malty taste.

Can from Costco: pours golden with white head. Aroma is lightly floral, malty, bread. Taste is light to somewhat bitterness. Not overly sweet. Marginally industrial. Satisfactory.

Slightly hazy yellow with a medium sized white head that left good lacing. Tangy and sweet with golden fruit, apple and citrus. Long finish. Moderately full bodied

Had this as berliner bock (see photo). Mercury and buttery yeast. Clear golden pour with ok head. Light lingering tin on the finish. Can. --- Beer aliased from original tick of St. Marienthaler Klosterbräu Bock on 16 Oct 2025 at 22:53 - Score: Appearance - 7 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 7 | Overall - 7. Original review text: Among the better of the St. M beers, and Eibauer in general. This one has a bit of nice barley profile. Some light mercury, a hint of butter. Bread dough. Pours clear golden with decent head. Can from Costco calendar.

Can 500ml (KCM Mikkola) Berliner Geschichte Bock. Brewery has lots of 6,7% bocks listed, so probably some aliases here which have not been connected. Pale amber colour, small white head. Light honeyish, green apple, alcohol aroma. Light to medium-bodied. Honeyish, some apple, light malts and alcohol. Feels quite low quality - not horrible but nothing to praise either.

Can, as Eibau Berliner Geschichte Bock, from Total Wines, Laguna Hills. Drank on Saturday 15th June 2024 after putting my Granddaughter to bed (she is 3) and I'm knackered! No head on the clear golden body, apart from a quickly fading white wisp. It's sweet and caramel like in taste, most likely going to give me a hang-over too, it has that acholic twang those such beers do. Not what I expected or wanted at all.
