12 ounce can from Tavour. Opaque dark brown color. Large frothy tan head. Sweet roasted malt aroma has notes of caramel and coconut. Flavor is intensely sweet and syrupy. Notes of milk chocolate, coconut, caramel and vanilla. Sticky and sweet, as expected.

Can. A- Coconut, chocolate, caramel, alcohol. A- Black color, dark liquid, beige head. T- Coconut, chocolate sauce, brown sugar, caramel, biscotti, sweet. P- Full body, slightly oily texture, average carbonation, sweet finish. O- Hit the mark with the samoa cookie flavor. Hedonistic for sure but also a bit sugary. Overall, a very solid beer, but not quite where I want the flavors to be in terms of balance.

Can from Livonia Liquor. Pours a deep brown to black with a finger of beige head that dissipates quickly. Classic Untitled Art Stout nose - sweet sugar, saccharin...maybe some coconut. Thin, no lacing at all on the glass. Burned caramel, sugar and bitter cacao mixed with saccharin-y vanilla coconut notes. It's fine as an post dinner apertif, but as usual, overly sweet, thin and muddled adjunct flavors that end up just being generically sweet.
