Hopfenaromatischer, erdig-bitterer Abgang; langer Nachtrunk. - Vorzüglicher, sehr würzig-aromatischer Bock.

50 cl bottle @ Timo A. Rated on 04.04.2011
Aroma is fresh and malty with some roasted notes and hints of berries. Flavour is also rather malty with some berries, hints of butter and solvent‐like alcohol. The boozy notes get stronger towards the end of the glass. Drinkable.

Bottle, many thanks to Quack-Duck. Amber brown color with medium white head. Roasted malt, caramel, roasted bread. Fruity taste with roasted malt, burned sugar, dark fruit, bee wax, bitter hops. Nice bitterness in fruity finish. Tasty.

Bottle @ Bierzwerg. Pours clear dark copper with a small white head. Really malty nose and flavor. Lots of fruit, grain and bread and a mild whiff of caramel. Smooth and medium bodied. Expected it to be more chewy, but quite balanced and nice nevertheless.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel Florentine. Thanks beerandbeyond. Clear deep amber-brown color. Caramelly malty aroma. Sweet caramelly flavor with a fruity touch and a slightly drier finish. Medium-bodied. An OK Bock.

Bottled 500ml (BZ, BB 04/2012)
Clear amber color, small steady beige head. Sweetish malty, alcoholic aroma with some caramel in it. Medium-bodied. Malty, harsh alcoholic flavor with grassy hoppyness. Lingering alcohol in the aftertaste with some fruity notes. Almost like a heller bock by taste.
