Bottle, 4.6%. Refreshing aroma of paper and white bread. Almost clear golden colour, sparkling. Ok stable white head. The flavour is mostly just bitter. There is a mild, papery malt base, but it is very frail, and the bitterness is a little brutal.

Bottle. Clear dark orange with a small white head and loads of floaties. Mild aroma of grains and malts with hints of stone and citrus fruits. Taste of malts, grains, straw and some honey finishing on a herbal note. Grainy bitterness. Medium Carbonation. Watery. Easy going. I still prefer Liebhart‘s lemonades (Pink Grapefruit!).

Capes Bottle shared at home. Light hazy pale golden with creamy white head. Light dough and yeast, a light lemon candy touch. It’s light malty but it’s almost like there’s some wheat in there, which apparently isn’t the case. It has that light tart doughy wheat thing going on though. Soft citrus, flowers and grass. Under medium sweet, light bitter and very light tart. Just medium bodied. It’s OK, quite drinkeable stuff.

Swing top bottle. Blonde, almost hazy. Hints of citrus and yeast in both aroma and flavor. Thinnish. Hints of malt and grass. low on carbon. Seems just a touch oxidated.

500ml bottle [a Maddie-Mitbringsel, danke dafür!]. Barely clear, yellow-ish, pale golden colour with average to huge, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Husky, grainy, strawy aroma, a spicy touch of hay, hints of curd with a touch of mandarine and orange. Taste is strawy grainy, a spicy touch of hay, hints of curd, a cautious touch of mandarine.

Buegelverschlußflasche: Golden, hazy, small persistent foamy layer, grainy-grassy nose with a slight citrussy fruitiness underneath; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied; lingering bitter and bisquity-fruity finish. Surprisingly good…

Bottled. Hazy golden colour, medium white head. Aroma is grass, grains, floral notes as well as quite some nice maltyness balancing it up. Flavour is bread, herbs, earth and some mild earth.
