Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from the brewery a long time ago. Pours clear yellow-gold with a small, foamy white head. Lightly sweet with forward oxidation, mild lemony tang, some pale bread, nips of straw, subtle acidity. Light bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Finishes with further slight acidity, notable oxidation. Alright given the age.

The taxonomy on these Kernel Table beers and Saison grows increasingly complex. Evin thinks they have done this one before under a different name, but until this is straightened out: Lightly hazy gold beer, small white head. Palate is light, dry and mildly crisp. Minerals. Dry seltzer. Mild sourness. Dry finish. This works much better with the Hersbrucker hops.

Bottle at the brewery, 31/05/14. Clear pale blonde with a moderate off white swirl and edgework. Nose is floral, lemon peel, light pice, straw, apricot, woody twinge, vanilla. Taste comprises lemon grass, spice, herbal tones, apple core, lightly dank wood. Medium bodied, fine massageing carbonation. Nice easy drinking blend.
