Great ! New top 50 beers - they've been a while since I needed to hunt, but with the mass-imigration to Brewver, 4 new ones popped in. This was the second-to-last I had not found yet, mistakingly bought a wrong one from someone (apparently, VSOR also exists and is a different beer) than randomly won this one in a raffle. So, so happy ! So psyched. First of the 4 i'm opening so a 'new top 50 beer' for the first time in years :D
Pours dark brown. Small tanned head fades instantly. Scent is rich, toffee, soy (mild) richt dark fruityness, oak and bourbon. Hides the booze very well. Especially great trough it's balance, elegance, yet power. Like a facepunch from The Rock, but he covered his hand in flowers and perfume and happyness.
Taste is super smooth, medium thick, medium boozy (not at all for the ABV) . Lots of wood, vanilla. dark fruit. Elegance, greatness, happyness and seriousness. This is a beer that demánds time, makes you feel like a rich dude in a club, smoking a cigar that costs as much as my house. The beer perfectly embodies the greatness of a Barleywine - one I always hope to get, but very, very rarely actually get. It might even be the best barleywine so far? If not it's definately a compedator. I remember the basebeer being absolutely stunning (back than I never heard of it and it's later-to-be-hype). This one comes with far higher expectations... And surpasses it.
Nutty, caramel, dark fruit, vanilla, oaky, smooth greatness. One touch of critisism is the alcohol - whilst not at all boozy compared to it's ABV, its still boozy - and shoudln't need that high ABV. At 14-15 %,this would likely be at it's peak for me (I think). Than again, details.... This is liquid awesomeness and ab-so-lutely deserves it's hype, as well as top 50 position.

Canned, 355 ml, shared with kajser27 and MiroB. Black with beige head. Deep caramel, roasted, chocolate, lots of bourbon, quite sweet, dried fruit, figs. Full bodied. Warming. Some heat.
Deleted my March 12th 2023 check-in for #ddp, from the dark embrace Tampa share (thanks Gino G. For that one can). Time to sip this for the next couple of hours. Still soooooo much caramel toffee chocolate vanilla malt heaven.
Sweet, rich, a bit boozy. Caramel, toffee, bourbon, vanilla from the barrels, smooth as silk. Fantastic. Please don't drink cold.

Sampled from the tap at GTMW 2023. Pours a clear amber with a slight brown hue with a bubbly brown head that dissipates quickly and completely. Aroma has strong barrel supported by bread, toffee and caramel notes. Flavor is sweet with bourbon and toffee joined by sweet grains and caramel notes.
0,3 litre Can, from a trade, at a share in Brumunddal. Black with little head. Gushed out of The Can. Malts, hops, barrel, bourbon, boozy, well balanced.
