Verdant. VER-DANT. It's Pronounced Verdant, (/ˈvɜː.dənt/).

It's no secret that we love Mosaic, and it's a bit mad that we've not done a single-hop IPA with it. So here it is, in all its invitingly golden glory. We've hopped it thrice cold side for maximum fruit stank and buffered this against a touch more malt depth than usual and a higher oat percentage to boot! Big, and stinky mouth of Mosaic.

Keg draught at the Real Ale Classroom, Leicester. Mid-gold and hazy with a rocky white head. Nose gives tangerine, lemon zest, some pineapple and a touch of candy sugar. Sweet taste with candied citrus peel to the fore. Light creamy notes to the finish. With tropical fruit character in the aftertaste. Light body for the ABV with soft carbonation. A brilliant beer.

Panda 🐼 at home big thanks to Wingmane. A translucent golden orange coloured pour with a lasting halo of loose white head. Aroma is nice big dank hops, damp dishcloth, onion, green mango, tarmac. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, rounded, base malts, wheat, orange and mango, mellow dank, grass, onion, midget gems. Palate is semi sweet, ronded, flaked grains, moderate carbonation. Good shit.

440ml can. Murky golden, white head. Aroma of berries and tropical fruits, hint of savoury. Taste of ripe berries, tropical fruits, mango, a little dank, slightly savoury. Medium bodied. Decent. Why did people ever think it was pronounced differently to the normal word verdant anyway? What was all that about? Still, nice of them to write the pronunciation in IPA on this IPA. I imagine the crossover of those who can read it and those who enjoy craft beer is slim to none.
