It's no secret that we love Mosaic, and it's a bit mad that we've not done a single-hop IPA with it. So here it is, in all its invitingly golden glory. We've hopped it thrice cold side for maximum fruit stank and buffered this against a touch more malt depth than usual and a higher oat percentage to boot! Big, and stinky mouth of Mosaic.

Draft at Ninkaci, Eastbourne. Poured a murky yellow golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head and some broken lace. The aroma is peachy citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a fresh, crisp, dry, peachy, tangerine, light floral, woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

440ml can. Hazy, orange golden colour with average to huge, thick, frothy to creamy, slowly osteoporosing, moderately lacing, white head. Tropical fruity, slightly grassy and citrusy fruity, hoppy aroma, sweet-ish, oaty and wheaty malty background, a minmally dusty, yeasty touch, notes of orange, mandarine, mango, some passion fruit, blueberry, physalis. Taste is juicy, tropical fruity, slightly citrusy fruity and grassy hoppy, slightly pungent bitterness, slightly creamy, oaty and wheaty, malty basis with low residual sweetness, notes of orange, mandarine, mango, zesty aspects. Slightly creamy and oily texture, smooth, simultaneously slightly pungent palate, fine, dense, mildly prickly carbonation. Immensely quaffable - always a joy to get hands at a Wöhdent brew.

Can from Eltham Wines. Hazy orange pour with a white head. Aromas of tropical fruits, melon, grapefruit, apricot, peach. Flavours are much the same as above. Sharp hoppy approach. Uber fruity. Nice lingering bitterness .

Tap at Beergeek Bar. Murky orange-yellow body, off-white head. Dank, oniony aroma, pretty big. Lean taste, citric, mildly grainy, quite herbal, lightly dank, with a mild bite. Good enough, but below extremely high expectations.
