12 ounce bottle. Bottled on 6/23/2022. Jet black pour. Small creamy tan cap. Aroma of roasted malt, espresso, chocolate and vanilla. Flavor mirrors nose. Added notes of oak and bourbon are subtle. Very approachable for the 11% ABV.

Bought at Liquor Shed in Casper. Bottled June 23rd 2022.
It pours what looks like pitch black with a small head of tan foam but it appears to be sticking around for the entire session. Lacing is decent.
The smell is loads of dark chocolate, Bourbon, vanilla, mild coffee, and a bit of sweetness.
The taste is wonderful. Dark chocolate with some sweetness, Bourbon is there but doesn't overwhelm the other flavours, vanilla, coffee that I notice mostly in the finish. Everything seems to be in its place as intended.
Close to full bodied, carbonation is mild, this is a real treat. I might have another later.

12oz bottle from Boise Co-op. Dark, opaque brown, spotty beige head. Full roasty aroma with latent boozy notes. Taste is bitter roasty malts, dark chocolate, minor coffee flavors. Thick, warm, lasting bitterness.

12 oz. bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out lots of bourbon barrels, moderate roast, some coffee, and vanilla. Flavour is full of bourbon barrels upfront, followed by coffee, vanilla and a hint of roast. Full-bodied, smooth and barrel-heavy. Integrated well and very tasty. Excellent.

12 oz bottle. Pours a dark brown with moderate tan head. Aromas of fruity bourbon, orange peel, chocolate, vanilla and soft roasted malts. Flavors follow same with additional black coffee. Really a Porter only by the lighter body IMHO. Good stuff.

Roast and caramel, chocolate, coffee. A little booze. Black pour with great mocha head and lacing. Bittersweet finish with some booze. Nice stuff. Tap at Chalice.

Bottle: Very dark brown pour with a large brown head. Rich aroma is heavily roasted coffee and dark chocolate. Faint woody barrel notes. Deep coffee flavor, almost burnt. Hints of dark chocolate and minimal barrel notes. Smooth, and rich for being fairly light bodied.

Bottle from Tavour. Pours very dark brown with a persistent creamy tan head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate and bourbon. Seems full bodied. Not dry/not sticky. Burnt malt and heat bitter. Flavor is chocolate, coffee, burnt malt, bourbon and wood notes. Tho parsing the bits takes some thought. There aren't all that many flavors, but separating them is not all that easy. Let's say complex. Really, really good porter.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown hue with a medium light brown head. A big boozy coffee forward beer. Sweet, huge vanilla, even bigger coffee, milky sweet coffee, roast. Very sweet, rich. Needs more heavy roast to balance it out. Very good.
