330ml bottle as Herold Bohemian Wheat Lager, 5.0%ABV, by the courtesy of Finn. Loose, creamy white head, short lived. Near clear golden. Semi-sweet spiced wheat to the nose. Apples, wheat and a bitter citric touch towards the ending. Soft in the mouth. A weizen that does not get too sweet (etter at juletreet var pyntet og tent, Tromsø, 21.12.2010).

Flaske 0,33l fra Alko/Muonio. Lys gylden. Litt uklar. Raskt fallende luftig skum. Deilig hveteølaroma: Sitrus & litt krydder. Smaken avrundet fruktig og litt syrlig. En ikke-søt fruktig & svakt bitter ettersmak. KI=7

Light yellow, cloydy beer with medium and blond head. Aroma is surprisingly quite strong, wheat and sourness, yeast, bananas, some spicyness and hint of citrusfruits. Flavour is yeasty, wheat, bananas and some bitterness. Lot of carbonation, sparkling, but still nice to drink. Personal, refreshning and quite dry hefe.

#600th rating. 33cl bottle from Alko. Poured hazy orange/yellow color with a frothy white head. Aroma is yeast and wheat mostly. Flavor is sweet, spices, yeast and wheat. Spices and alco in finish. Tad too sweet for me

Bottled (Alko, BB 06/2011)
Murky honey-amber color, small white head. Sticky yeasty overriped banana aroma. Crisp carbonation. A bit thinnish, watery palate. Mouthfeel is hard, almost metallic. Sticky harsh maltyness in the flavor, some overriped banana and hints of lemony hops. As a lager, clearly lack complexity and fryuityness of "real" hefeweizens. Beats Finnish wheat lagers anyway.

Bottle, 5.0% as Herold Bohemian Wheat Lager. Quite clovey aroma. Cloudy yellow colour. White head. Distinct flavour, clove and citrus. The citrus is slightly lemony and turns a bit rough in combination with the bitterness. The aftertaste is rough and not so pleasant.
