A classic porter using Pale brown and black malt giving a rich full flavoured taste. Generously hopped to balance the sweetness of the malt.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Black with a beige head. Chocolate, black coffee and burnt malts. Some creamy sweetness comes through in the finished but it's a bit too charred for my tastes.

Tight rocky tan head stayed on a near black still body. Malt, liquorice & coal aroma. Medium bodied, smooth with a lighter clean back. Malt, spiced fruit, tangy & berry tastes with a lightly hopped limp finish. All a bit mixed up.
