River Fossil Farm is a golden barrel aged Australian Wild Ale refermented with organically grown blueberries from Fossil River Farm at Petcheys Bay Tasmania, handpicked by Chris. Made and released exclusively for The Collective.
River Fossil Farm 2025 is an ale aged with blueberries. The ale was brewed with Organic red wheat and Organic heritage barley wholly fermented by a diversity of yeasts and bacteria collected from native flowers from NSW. Following primary fermentation it matured in oak for 16 months before being macerated and refermented with 500g/l of Organic blueberries from River Fossil Farm in Petcheys Bay, TAS. It was then blended with second use ale from Sailor Seeks Fossil 2024. Following this maceration it was bottled with raw, unheated Blue Mountains Polyflora wild honey from naturally formed, bee-friendly Warré hives from Tim and Emma Malfroy and allowed to naturally condition and carbonate before release. Made exclusively for The Collective.

Superficial sample from Billie’s craft beer fest 2025. Red body under a small pink head. Fruity, distinct blueberries, distinct oak, acidic some funk. Nice.

2025 Ed. 5.8% ABV Deep red with no head nor carbonation. Rich vinous nose with berries that are clearly blueberry. Hint at lactic acid and fruitacids. Sweet-sour dark berries' flavour. Vinous with a lot of acids. Acidthinning, light -burn. Low carbonation but refreshing all the same. Nice! Kangaroo blueberries, go figure (OK, Tasmania isn't exactly the Outback)!

On tap at Billie's Craft Beer Festival. 2025 vintage. A berry-driven funky beer with some, unfortunately I think, vinegar. Barnyard, cellar, dusty malt hints and a good dash of berries. Nice indeed. 747415 251107

Приятный дикий эль с нотками ягод и листиков от кустов. Есть дикие дрожжи, кислота в меру.
