Einsiedler Zwickelbier is a unique German specialty that represents the symbiosis of nature.
The purity of our well water in harmony with fine malt notes, the scent of fresh yeast and enjoyable hops synergizes what nature has to offer. Unfiltered, this mature beer with a hefty body and a nice hop bitterness brings all the ingredients together for a bold yet easy drinking beer.

Cheers.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear golden with a white head leaving a discreet lacework. Malty, lightly caramellish head. Medium body, dry and clean maltiness, a slight fruity and candy-like note with a good and balancing hoppy finish, that isn’t too bitter though. 100511

22/01 0.5 l bottle courtesy of ogivlado, thanks for sharing! It poured somewhat darker orange body with small head. Weak, almost non existent aroma of some strange crude but also sweet malt. On the other hand, flavor is bitterish, herbal and a bit earthy, only slightly sweet as it approaches to the end. Medium in body with relatively long, slightly bitter herbal finish. Just an average, easily forgettable Landbier.

Bottle: Hazy, golden with an orangey sheen, rather rapidly collapsing fluffy off-white head; fruity and grainy nose with a touch of yeast and - unfortunately - a metallic tinge; moderate, not very dry bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, relatively soft; some hoppy traces in the bitter-grainy finish. Nothing to complain, nothing to praise.....

Cloudy orange/golden coloured, small to medium sized white head, sweetish malty nose. Sweet malty, mild yeasty and grainy with quite dry finish. Nothing special here.
