Einsiedler Zwickelbier is a unique German specialty that represents the symbiosis of nature.
The purity of our well water in harmony with fine malt notes, the scent of fresh yeast and enjoyable hops synergizes what nature has to offer. Unfiltered, this mature beer with a hefty body and a nice hop bitterness brings all the ingredients together for a bold yet easy drinking beer.

Cheers.

Dark golden towards orange, low head and lasting laces. Earth and pear aroma. Earth tones in taste as well, together with malt and some lingering bitterness.

Bottle from Leipzig. Slightly hazy gold, pretty good head. Nose of slightly malty, earthy hay. Taste is an interesting interplay of grain, herbal notes, and mineral flavor. Filtered through granite? Pretty tasty.

2/1/2022. Bottle at the New Year beer share. From RAD beer. Pours clear pale golden amber with a small frothy white head. Aroma of grain, malt, hop, citrus, grass. Moderate sweetness and bitterness, with a slight tart edge. Moderate body, oily watery texture, average carbonation. Disappointing.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from Hereford Beer House. ABV noted at 5.2%. Pours very slightly hazed honey-gold with a modest, foamy white head. Lightly sweet with fresh biscuits, crunchy cereal, lightly toasted grains, straw, a hint of grass. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with further fresh biscuity mats, lightly bitter hay. Very nice beer.
