Pours black, no real head. Scent is pure peanut goodness. Intense, chocolate, roast. bit bourbon, perhaps ? Taste is full, smooth, roasty. Definately to the hot side, milder on the oak though. Roasted peanuts. Hazelnuts are fairly hidden, but provide some backbone. I would have enjoyed them a bit more outspoken - and the beer a bit less hot.

Draft pour enjoyed at Cycle, St. Pete. Pours a dense, midnight black, with a quick fading, dark head. Almost as fwrk as the beer. Really nice aroma of bold hazelnut and dark chocolate. Whiskey notes blended in as well. Flavor is a bolder than expected blend of nutty chocolate and smooth whiskey. Long lasting hazelnut and chocolate peanut butter. Such a smooth imperial stout here. It has a bite, but ends ultimately smooth and delicious. A dessert beer in the imperial category that totally works for my taste. Some vanilla like background. Strong impressions, but not nearly to the advertised potency. Incredible brew here.

650ml bottle. Sweet and intense with loads of nutty notes, peanut butter, hazelnuts and warming bourbony barrel notes. Quite intense hazelnut bomb
