Draft to bottle from lowcostbeer.com. I'm used to having IPAs from Pentrich but recently had a smoked porter and now a fruit sour. Pours a murky purple colour obviously due to the blueberry but seems at odds with the name of the beer. Some pink foam on top. Fruity blueberry with the lemon sharpness and pithiness coming through as well as a touch of funk. Nice fruitiness in the taste and follows aroma in truth - fruity blueberry to start sharp lemon cuts through and combines in a rather pithy finish, moderate tartness. Very enjoyable.

Panda pop from low cost beer at home. Pours hazy pinkish, nose is rhubarb, lemon, blueberry, taste is tart berries, lemon sherbert.

[Panda from Low Cost Beer.] A hazy berry pink coloured pour with a thin white head; sour berry aroma with a whiff of lemon; smooth in the mouth with a tart berry fruit taste; then a sharp sour lemony finish. Clean and refreshing,

Draught keg from the Queens Road Tap, Leicester. Hmmm... have I had a sour from Pentrich before? Exciting! It is buish purple and suitably opaque with a thin ring of pinkish head. Blueberry is prominent in the aroma, with the tartness of fresh berries to the fore, accompanied by a light oral scent. Lemon is the dominant flavour: straight-on sour with the lactose calming the storm at the edges providing a slightly more balanced finish. Body's surprisingly light with medium carbonation. It's a good sour, short of brilliant but I can live with that.
