The first innovation imagined in collaboration with Heineken. Called Champ Libre, this unfiltered blond beer – like all the recipes produced by Gallia – has a 5.8° content. Its brewer, Rémy Morin, wanted to add a taste twist by adding rye to the malted barley for spicy and rustic notes.

Quenelles tonight chez mamie 😝 --- Beer merged from original tick of Blonde Non Filtré Champ Libre on 31 Mar 2025 at 18:44 - Score: 7. Original review text: Pretty decent. More flavour than many from Gallia. Lots of their stuff I don’t like so much.

Bottle from Alsace, perhaps Auchan Mulhouse. Hazy pale yellow, floral nose. Quite light-bodied with wheaty and yeasty hints, floral hops with a touch of fresh mint, fragrant and very slightly bitter. Pleasant.

0.33 l bottle shared with Ogi who brought it from France. Thanks. Unclear golden, small off-white head. Light malty aroma, nice herbal hoppy profile, slightly floral, some honey. Malty, sugary, caramely, sweet. Light body, quite smooth. A bit bland. Minimal bitterness. Light malty dry finish.

Big bottle shared. Bit hazy golden. Sweet malts, white grapes, wheat, soft chalky and mineral with a finish of dried fruits and sweet yeasty dough. Medium sweet and bitter. Not great but quite drinkeable.

Bottle from holidaying friends. Pours lightly hazed yellow gold with a thin white head. Aromas of cereal, malt, cornflakes, lemon. Taste is sweet, lemon boiled sweets. Finishes dry though. --- Beer merged from original tick of Blonde Non Filtré Champ Libre on 17 Oct 2025 at 15:22 - Score: Appearance - 7 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 7 | Overall - 7. Original review text: Bottle on the TGV Barcelona to Nimes. Pours hazy yellow gold with a thin white head. Aromas of light honey, light bread, light dried herbs. Taste is more of the same. Opalescent pale yellow colour, minimal creamy white head; aroma of some fruity, grape peel, orange, orange peel and wheaty notes; taste is quite similar to the aroma with some spicines; drinlable, though has nothing really amazing --- Beer merged from original tick of Blonde Non Filtré Champ Libre on 15 Jun 2025 at 14:03 - Score: Appearance - 9 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7. Original review text: almost crystal clear golden colour, huge, dense and stable snow-white head; aroma of fruity (apple, maybe some pear and dried apricot, as well), grainy, floral and slight herbal notes; taste of moderate hoppy bitterness, bread crusty, fruity, slight honey and spicy-peppery notes; good one
