375 ml bottle into tulip, no bottle date, but picked this up when it was released in 2011. Pours slightly hazy pale orange color with a nice 1-2 finger dense off white head with good retention that reduces to a thin cap. Spotty lacing on the glass, and a good amount of carbonation streaming up. Aromas of big tart apple, cherry, cider vinegar, spiciness, hay, grape, lemon, oak, and funk. Very nice aromas with great balance of everything. Nothing is too overpowering. Taste of big tart apple, cherry, grape, lemon, pear, spiciness, grass, earthiness, light vinegar, and oak. Nice tart and sour finish; with some lingering notes of apple, grape, vinegar, spiciness, and earthiness. Very nice balance of sweetness with the acidity. Medium carbonation and body; with a nice crisp and acidic mouthfeel. No alcohol noticed at all as expected from the style. Overall this is an outstanding and well balanced American wild ale. Very complex and smooth drinking despite the acidity.

Bottle thanks to Sarah. Pours a cloudy amber with a slight ruby hue and a white head that dissipates completely. Aroma has a good amount of acid with some sour stone fruits and a hint of funk. Flavor begins with acid that remains throughout with a bit of stone fruit and not too much else.

Bottle from Half Time. Pours hazy amber with at ransient off-white head. Aroma of quite sour ale. Near vinegar. Med minus body. Light carb. Sour and sour acidic flavor. Seems a little vinous and oaky. Finishes smoothly sour.

12.7 fl oz corked and caged bottle purchased at Zipps in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Thanks for the hook up Ty. Cork pulls out easily with a soft pfft. Pour is a clear cider looking golden copper with a smallish white head. Aroma is a nice soft sour citrus vinegar, along with a clean lemon. Taste is bracingly tart and sour right away, mostly the lemon, though the acetic sour vinegar is right behind. There was also some earthy oak type thing in the finish. As my mouth adjusts, this is actually nicely balanced between the citrus and vinegar. There is some buttery notes in the long finish. Palate is light to medium bodied, active fine carbonation and a dry finish. The palate is a touch watery, but it works for the acetic element. As mentioned the butter appears in the after taste. Overall, a nicely done sour.
