Return of the iconic Oregon Trail in DIPA form! This West Coast DIPA features Simcoe, Chinook and Columbus hops. It's resinous and piney with citrus undertones. A balanced bitterness works well with the caramel flavours from the malts.

Can bought at the brewery. Aroma is resinous and fruity with a sprinkle of spice. Clear copper gold. Bubbly foamy white head. Heavy bitter. Full-on resin. Howevee there is a big tinned fruit streak that provides a contrast. The maltiness really develops. Spice. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Big beer.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from Beer Merchants. Pours mostly. Lear honey-gold with a frothy, white head. Medium sweet flavour with bright, juicy citrus, sturdy piney bitterness, pale bread, some mango, melon, peach, honeysuckle. Medium to full bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Subtly warming finish, some piney resin, more bright citrus fruits and supportive pale malts. Outstanding. Among UK-brewed beers, it’s perhaps the closest to capturing the essence of a west coast DIPA.
