Very dark brown beer with a beige head. Aroma of dark brown malt, caramel, some cherries. Taste caramelized dark malt, chocolate, hints of cherries.

Dark brown, hazy with a short lived light brown head. A roasted malt aroma with some sense of dried fruit and caramel sense. Light bitter, some sweetness with a roasted malt and fruit and yeast ending. Gutersloh holiday.

Dark brown with a frothy, beige head. Aroma full of roasted grains, oak, ashes, caramel. Taste is roasted bitter up front. The cherries make their appearance at the long finish, which is both bitter and mildly tart, a mix of ashes and cherry. Medium-bodied, moderate carbonation. Nice balance. The cherries are a plus, not a distraction. Good!
