The Krenkerup Rauch Bier or Smoked beer, is one of our flagship beers and winner of 3 Gold medals in the renowned European Beer Star competition. Complex and sweet, with a very distinct smoky flavor, that is in perfect balance with the rest of the ingredients.

Clear copper with a rich white head. Nice sweet bacony smoke. Sweet bacony and burnt sugar notes. A long bitter finish. Not as good as the classics, but not bad.

Huge thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Looks good in the glass, zippy, nice head. Fine smoky aroma. Starts malty, smoky, some notes of bacon. Finish milder, less smoky. Not bad.

500ml bottle. The beer has a smooth and slightly smoked nose. Fresh floral beginning, the smoke is there only far in the back. Nice hints of roast and dry malts. Smooth smoked mild aftertaste, sweetish grainy, very dry in total with a grainy bitter aftertaste with smokey layer on top. Interesting and refreshing, but more on the mild side.

That’ll be me 20K then @ ChrisO’s. Thanks to Chris? Light haze on this amber beer, small cream colour head. Palate is light, dry and fairly crisp. Caramel papery malts, sweet and smooth. Some lactose like sweetness and a little dried fruits. Dry finish. Mellow smoke. Okay.
