No.9 – It took us 9 attempts to get this lager just right (hence Lager No.9). Brewed with Saaz hops and fermented low with a clean lager yeast, No.9 is lager as it should be.

Can from the Green Dragon, Whitby. Pours hazy yellow gold with a thin white head. Aroma of cooked corn and lemon. Taste has a floral note and light malt. Light bitter lemon finish.

Tap at the brewery. Clear lively gold. White foam. Nose has damp slightly sour grain. Some lemon hop. Taste is a little sweet with some bitterness. Slightly soapy. High-ish carbonation. Ok.
