Bottle from yespr, thanks! Deep dark brown color. Apple syrup and sugar in the aroma. Malty sweet, roasty flavor with cacao and apple syrup. Thinnish. Sugary. Weird.

Flaske i lejligheden, fra kiosken på hjørnet: brunsvart med flot skum der varer. Aroma og smag af mørk malt, stjerneanis og gule æbler. Slank og nem at helde indenfor snippen, men den efterlader intet varig.

Pours clear brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, star anise, licorice, hint of dried fruits and caramel. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Smak och doft av humle, malt, karamell, rostade toner, choklad, havre med toner av aska, russin och anis. Lätt kropp, lagom sötma, rund och len. Avrundas med en snäll beska.

Bottle from Voldby. Almost black with a light brown head. Aroma is sweet, malty, heavy caramel and star anise. Flavor is quite sweet and light bitter. Sweet finish. 151213

Bottle. Pours cloudy very dark brown with airy tan head. Sweet, dark aroma of liquorice, malt, caramel and brown sugar. Mildly sweet flavour of liquorice and caramel malt with subtle notes of hops and roast. Very mild liquorice finish. Mild carbonation. Slightly creamy mouthfeel. Decent.

Bottled (thanks Anna). Deep ambery brown colour, with a small beige head. Aroma is chocolate, caramel, wheat and some toasted notes. Flavour is chocolate, mild ashes, oatmeal as well as some caramel and mild spicy notes.

[9/28/11] Mahleket Hanikot Shotrim ’11 tour. Bottle at Ungdomshuset in Copenahgen. Cola-like dark brown with a beige foam. Aroma of licorice and a bit of smoky notes. Sweetish flavor of licorice, a bit of roastiness, light vegetal notes and an acidic touch. Medium-bodied. Weird.
