Had this at The European Beer Festival, Kobenhaven, 12-09-08. Pours light copper some slight smokiness detected on the nose, touch malty and sweet. Solid if unexciting beer quite tasty with some smoked woodiness on the nose.

(Bottle 50 cl) Slightly hazy warm amber golden with an off-white head. Sweetish aroma of roasted malt and Danish rye bread. Quite full-bodied with sweetish roasted malt, Danish rye bread and an interesting and piquant light smoke note. Vague ashy edge. Dry but not overly bitter finish. Solid craftmanship. 120708

Draught at Ølfestival 2008, Århus
Hazy amber color. It has an apple aroma and flavor, so I think the fermentation had some trouble... Some caramel flavor, low bitterness. Too simple.

Draft at Ølfestival, Århus, 2008. An unclear amber beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel, while the flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel and alcohol. I’d like it clear and with more bread character.
