Whut? Cold Hawaii? That sounds like an island that is as made up as Atlantis. Nope, Cold Hawaii is located in the north of Denmark and is a true mecca for surfers. Since it always rains and is freezing cold in Denmark (right?), you can shine there all year round on your surfboard. So also in January. mahalo! Apologies: Mæhølø!

Can from Brygshoppen. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are hops, flowers, fruits and malt. Nice bitter finish.

33cl can. A minimal hazy yellow golden beer with a white head. Aroma of stone fruits, citrus, tangerine, pale malt. Taste of dry juicy bitter hops, tangerine, citrus, pale malt, stone fruits. Long bitter finish.

0.33 l can from 'Bierloods22', best before January 2023. Hazy, golden with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, quite fruity, gently floral aroma of pineapple, passion fruit and quince. Slightly sweet, gently bitter, fairly fruity, gently floral and slightly grassy taste of pineapple, grapefruit, pomelo and lemon peel, followed by a short, quite bitter, slightly grassy finish. Medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Crisp stuff, nicely bitter, that's how this style makes sense to me.
