On tap. Pours a cloudy opaque deep golden with hardly any head. The nose is very dry and slightly tart with a flowery whiff from the hops. Light body, almost flat, there’s a vaguely tart barnyard touch but also a little underlying caramel sweetness and a whiff of oranges - quite fruity actually. Dry and lightly astringent finish. Quite fresh. 161210

Draft. A hazy golden beer with a rim of beige head. The aroma has notes of wood and horseblanket. The flavor is acidic with notes of wood, malt, and horseblanket, leading to a slightly tart finish.

24th September 2010. Borefts Beer Festival II. Served by the great man himself! Cheers Alex!
7.0% abv. Cloudy gold beer, no head. A little paint/glue on the nose. Light dry palate. Sourish hops but run through with an odd sweet paint note! Finishes very dry. I always struggle with this style of beer but this was quite drinkable for me.

Draught at Borefts Beer Festival 2010, courtesy of Alex, Marco and Fabio - grazie, ragazzi! Shared with Menno, who drank it from his own green bullet - a 30 millimeter shell from steptin’s A-10 Warthog. A decent enough lambic style brew, with slight dryness, and a bit of citrus.

From tap. Pours hazy orange with no head. Aroma is butterish and acidic. Bitter, acidic and sharp yet not dominant acetone note. Citric and bitter. Dry and acidic finish. A bit too sharp in the finish.
