Mixed Fermentation Barel Aged Sour.
A single barrel of golden sour brewed in June 2020 was left to age for a year before freshly picked pineapple weed, found all around the brewery site, was added to the barrel. Pineapple weed, named for its resemblance of tiny pineapples, brings a light citrus note, wioth the addition of our homegrown Brewers Gold hops in a dry hop shortly before bottling.
Fresh, dry & zingy

Nice. Very flat. Not so oaky, quite fruity. Quite sour. Good stuff. It’s pretty fun. But maybe not complicated enough to justify the price. But at the same time it’s only a couple of quid more than a pint.

Bottle as a recommendation from the great folks of Kingsmead Bottle in Bath. Pours a light amber bare head to a slight ring. Not alot of nose, some barrel vanilla notes and strangely coconut. (ya my sence of smell is sketchy.) Oh man, that first taste is magic. Mild arebic sour, coconut, sweet dry hay malty base., vanilla in the finish. That is good. And since I'm only travelling in the UK, I'll never see this beer again. Le sigh. And what the hell is Pineapple weed? So good.
