Bottle shared in London at chriso’s - huge thanks to Gene. Pours mostly clear gold with a creamy white head. A little rubber in the nose, tangerine, sugary wheat. Medium sweet flavor with cheap wheat bread, grain, hay, tangerine rind. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sugary finish, more sugary wheat bread, faint rubber, grains. So so.

Many thanks to Eike, who got this beer from his father.
Very cloudy and pale in the glass. Lots of clove and yeasty banana in the nose. The beer starts highly carbonated and yeasty. Very smooth and not too sweet, but with lots of banana and clove in the flavour. The mainpart gets a little bit more bitter, especially in the end. Banana, clove and yeast. The aftertaste is round, a bit sharper and more bitter, the sweetness of the banana goes a bit into the background. But still nice and highly drinkable.
--> An absolutely great Hefeweizen with lots of typical aroma! --> 13/12/13/13
