On tap at the Klosterschenke Brewery Sunday 21st July 2019 after a 21mile cycle ride from Attenkirchen. Hazy mid amber with a white head, soft carbonation. The typical wheat beer attributes are there but quite subdued, light wheaty, sone banana. Good, but not amazing.

€-Flascherl(Das Original!) Golden with an orangey sheen, hazy to cloudy, smaller - but stable - creamy off-white head, sweetish nose of bananas and raspberries, wheat and dried fruits, mild acidity underneath; mild to moderate sweet and mildly sourish flavour, almost medium bodied, soft MF; slightly lingering sweet-sourish finish with a slight bitterness in the aftertaste. A bit on the sweet side, but all in all a pleasant one...

(bottle, purchased at the drinks market of the monastery) Cloudy, golden colour with a blond and tall foamy head. Sweet malty and moderately wheaty aroma with present notes of banana and a whiff of vanilla. Moderately sweet and delicately tart flavour, light to medium bodied with a slightly creamy carbonation. Wheaty and slightly yeasty taste with pronounced notes of banana and vanilla sweetness, lingering into the moderately sweet and delicately phenolic, clove-spicy finish. Simple, refreshing, good. 10.II.18

The Travlr tasting at ChrisO’s. Thanks to Gene for all the beers and Chris for hosting. Hazy gold beer, small white head. Palate is light and semi dry. Modest fine carbonation. Light dried fruit sourness. Trace of lemon. Little floralness. Semi dry finish. Okay.
