Bottle, thanks to our German friends. In remembrance... Color: Murky amber to brown, Mocha head. Aroma: Malty, caramel, some sugar. Taste: Equally malty, caramel, candy sugar notes, hints of liquorice. Very light hoppy background. Moderate to over moderate sweet, light bitterness. Quite thin body, just below average carbonation. Drinkable.

Many thanks to Erzengel for sharing! A murky dark brown beer with a small beige head. Aroma of caramlized strong malt, some vegetables and liquorice. Taste of dark brown malt, spices, hints of vegetables. Slightly boozy.

Thanks David. Smooth malty but slightly sourish. Moderate bitter, not too deep, caramel and bitterness, very dry. --- Beer merged from original tick of BFE No. 04 Erzinator on 29 Sep 2022 at 23:21 - Score: 5. Original review text: Thanks David I. Bottle from the brewery. Looks good. Beer in the glass light brown, small head. Fine malty aroma, light roasty touch. Starts fine malty, light roasty, also with some interesting hoppy-dry notes. Background with mild sweetness. The added honey is not too much. Finish well balanced. Nice one!
