Nutty bready malt and hay aroma. Golden yellow with large white head and mild effervescence. Moderately sweet honey biscuit malt, and mildly bitter hay flavor. Good body. Solid.

I'm being generous here with the scores because a pale lager just isn't the traditional red Marzen with the properly handled Vienna malt for that slight dry roastiness at the end that is so good. It's not a bad pale lager but that's it.

Bottle picked up from REWE consumed at home Attenkirchen, Wednesday 25th September 2019 listening to Steve Lamaq 6Music and cooking Meatballs in a Tomato Sauce. Pours gold, good clarity, with a white head. Soft carbonation, malty, a little honey, dry finish. This is really moreish, I like this.

6.1% on the label, labeled as Graf Toerring Barthelmarkt Bier. Bottle. Golden blonde. Full bodied, almost. Malty and bready with floral notes and hints of citrus. No specific aroma. Pleasant enough.

Keg at Bavarian Bierhaus. Described by the bartender as a winter oktoberfest. Clear gold, large frothy off-white head, good retention. Aroma of toast, grain, floral hops. Taste is toast, caramel, grain, and a mild fruitiness. Medium bodied, crisp. Nice.

Many thanks for this bottle to Beerhunter111. Pours a dark golden color; creamy head. Good body, with a bready flavor, and light residual sugars.

Pours a clear gold color with a small khaki head and fair retention. Almost no lacing. Sweet malt aroma. Sweet and very clean lager flavor. Low carbonation. Super easy drinking and very good German Oktoberfest. The 6.1 ABV is invisible. Prost!

Decent festbier, offering up subtle caramel malt notes with a toasted bread center and slight apple-lemon undertones against a mild floral hoppiness on the back end. Creamy, eaygoing feel is nice, but otherwise a fairly run-of-the-mill pint. Drinkable, regardless.
