Can. It's almost clear in the glass, golden in color and with an off-white head. The aroma is quite weak, with alcohol, some tropical fruit and pine cones, and a sweetish maltyness. It's full-bodied, warming and softly carbonated, sweet, with lots of alcohol flavors and a good bitterness. Generic tropical fruit, pine cones, resin and a touch of pale malts in the flavor. Sweet. Too alcoholic this one. 220417

16oz can from Salt Horse. Dark golden, light cloudiness, fine head. Malty aroma, very hoppy, alcohol heat. Taste is sweet before getting obliterated by the sheer heavy hoppiness of this beer, boozy bitterness, malty, heavy. Finishes with a burn. I like it.

Lys brun lett tåkete med hvitt skum. Lukter blomster og tørket frukt. Middels fylde. Søt, bitter smak. Smaker sitrusskall, lys stenfrukt og alkohol. Middels lang.

Keg at The Southampton Arms, Gospel Oak, London. A hazy golden/orange coloured pour with a medium off white head on top. Hoppy, malty, orange, marmalade, pine, tropical fruit taste and aroma. A big tasty complex number from Buxton.

Can from Cork & Cask. Hazy deep golden body with microscopic flecks beneath a white head that holds well. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of honey, menthol and orange. Flavour of resin and orange jelly. Medium to full body with an oily mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Very smooth and (dare I say it) easy drinking. Impressive.

Can from Cork and Cask. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas of heady citrus, green mango, light booze and resin. Taste is cooked orange, resin, a bit sticky and boozy for me. Not bad though.

Can. Buxton online shop. Light haze on a medium gold. Super thin, super sticky white foam. Looks good. Nose has sticky sappy pine. Reduced down citrus. Old English marmalade. Some fresh citrus leaf hop. Fruited bread malts in the background. Taste is mega sweet, but with that big bosh of bitterness that Buxton seem to wrangle really well out of their hops. Frighteningly easy drinking with fine carbonation. Stewed fruit bitterness to finish. Tasty gear. Smashed it.

Tasting at Chez Bois. Thanks to Cloin for the can. Light haze on this gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, slightly viscous, decent fine minerally carbonation. Smooth sweet malts, a good creamy sweetness. Rich pine. Ripe hoppy fruits. Good hop spice. Good cooling piney finish. Easy drinking mahoosive IPA.
