Dark ruby red, with an orangey fruity malt character. The spicy, resinous, lemony Goldings absolutely sing through the beer combining beautifully with the malt, and the bitterness is powerful and lasting, punching through the residual sweetness.

Cask at The Colmore; Mahogany pour with a creamy magnolia head, aroma has fresh roast coffee and an autumnal fruit medley, mouthfeel is really smooth, taste has coffee, light bitter red fruits, some biscoff type flavours, this is excellent.

500ml bottle at 7.2%. Pours a clear dark ruby red, frothy beige head. Aroma of caramel and dark fruits, toasty/bready malts. Taste of caramel, nutty and toasty/bready malts, dark fruits, sweet-ish but finishes with a light dry bitterness. Light-medium bodied, really nicely balanced. Carbonation feels a little spritzy perhaps - bet this would be even better on cask.

Magus, mõru, karamelline, linnaseline, kergelt happeline ja nats tasakaalust väljas, aga siiski nauditav. Ok.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - brown and opaque with an orange chink at the base. Beige head. Nose - Jamaica cake, treacle sponge and malt loaf. Light herbal/floral note but very delicate. Taste - treacle going into milk chocolate, light Christmas spice and a bit of underlying zest comes through at the finish. Palate - medium bodied at least, sweet middle with a roasty malt and a citrus hop bitterness. Overall - great gear!

Cask at Euston Tap. Dark amber/brown colour with small white head. Aroma is a bit stinky dish cloth funkiness and a bit malty. Taste is malty and creamy with an increasingly bitter finish. Slightly herbal element. Medium bodied and sightly oily and prickly in the mouth. Very nice.
