0,44 l can. Pours amber gold with huge, lasting off white head. Plenty of lacing. Hazy with plenty of tiny floaters. Aroma of malt, some caramel, yeast with big tropical fruit character. Flavour follows aroma, big malt base with tropical fruit and some resin. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter. Finish is medium long, bittersweet.

Leicht eingetrübt bernsteinfarben mit weißer Schaumkrone. Hopfiger, malziger, fruchtiger Geruch.

Can at home. A bit unclear yellow color, medium to full sized white head. Aroma and flavor are malts, hops, resinous hoppy a little bit, decently hoppy bitter, medium bitter finish. Decent body and carbonation. Solid.

Lattina.

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is piney hop with grapefruit, pine resin, malt, citrus, orange. Flavour is medium bitter with a little sweetness. Medium body. Decent classic IPA, lacks a little oomph.

Dark amber, slightly cloudy, nice tin! Nose is underwhelming: pine, cardboard, citrus, caramel. Taste gives a smooth first impression. Full bodied and well rounded with just the right lingering bitterness on the finish. Taste is caramel, touch pine, sweet orange lemonade. Tiny bit too sweet but very enjoyable.

Found at Aeon Liquors: O’hara’s IPA West Coast IPA 6.2% Nice orange gold in color with thick off-white foam. The aroma is dank citrus classic IPA. The medium body is fairly smooth and the taste is bitter pine and a bit of citrus. Very much first wave US imports to Japan vibes. As it warms I start to get some Smokey wood notes like it spent some time in a wooden barrel/cask. Bought in honor of St-Patrick’s Day!

opalescent golden colour, huge, dense ecru-ish white head, which, however, collapses quite quickly; aroma of intensive pine resiny, orange peel, candied pomelo peel, grapefruity and some biscuity notes; taste has ther same notes as can be felt in the aroma with a great amount of hoppy bitterness; really good West Coast IPA!
