A full bodied Imperial Stout that balances out the spicy characteristics of malted rye with a touch of sweetness from brown sugar and real Wisconsin maple syrup.

Can. Brown color with beige head. Aroma is chocolate, mild rye spice. Taste is liquorice, earthy, black bread, where's the maple? Rye is definitely there though. Silky mouthfeel, medium carbonation. Alright, but not exactly great.

Can. Black, low dark brown head. Salty licorice, rosehip and roast nose. Medium body, dry licorice, sticky sugar. Roast malt, dry rye edges, chocolate, light caramel, sugars to the finish. Dark roast sticky aftertaste.

33 cl can @ Vihti, canned 13.01.2022 Aroma has sweet cocoa and milk chocolate. Flavour has cocoa and milk chocolate, perhaps some licorice too. Liquor and alcohol in the finish. Like a stronger version of Slottskällans Imperial Stout.

Both the aromas and flavors are toasty, roasty dark malt, that's mildly sweet with just right bitter, carbonation and slightly boozy finish. Hints of molasses and coffee. Can't pick up Maple or rye. Still, nice beer.
