500 ml bottle purchased at Esquin Wine Merchant in Seattle, Washington. PRODUCTION NUMBER 020900 L18 stamped on the label. Pour is a cloudy white, yellow golden with a one inch white head that falls immediately. Aroma originally is skunky on opening, though that clears quickly. Behind the skunk is grainy wheat, and a bit of a moldy vegetable odor. Neither is real strong, so it is not overly unpleasant, but still does not smell quite right. The taste is (thankfully) more on target for a hefe, starting with the grainy wheat, moving towards some clove, banana and citrus rind yeast and closing with a nice amount of mineral earthiness. As with the nose, its unclean, but not overly so to be unpleasant. Palate is medium bodied, mouth coating with active carbonation. The aftertaste is the mineral. Overall a below average Hefeweizen.

Bottle. Bought in Italy. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Greenisch yellow colour. Light malty moderate hoppy aroma. Nice grassy fruity notes. Moderate bitter flavor. Long wonderfull grassy and fruity finish. Creamy palate. Very hoppy and crispy hefe. Really nice.

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden and almost clear. Aroma and taste are rich yeast, malt, grass and herbs. Great weisse.

Aroma: Big citrus wheat nose, banana, clove, spice
Appearance: Hazy orange color, minimal white head, spattered lacing
Flavor: Similar to the nose, wheaty, sweet, and nice
Palate: Smooth and light, but I wouldn't call it thin, it just had a good lightness of body
Overall Impression: I like this brew. It has some good stuff going on with it. It's not overly complex, but for the style, it is pretty enjoyable, and it does a good job.

Bottle as shown. Pours a cloudy orange golden with a small white head that diminishes very quickly to nothing. Decent spotty lacing on the glass. The aroma is a sweet fruit with banana and clove. The taste is wheat and banana. Easy to drink, a good hefe from Brauerei.

bottle from Interspar Linz, with a special label "300 Jahre Grieskirchner Brauerei 1708-2008". Cloudy glowing golden yellow, large and creamy white head, very persistent. Fruity nose. Full-bodied, yeasty and wheaty with a very pleasant and not overwhelming banana flavour. Hints of peach. Slightly hopps. Very smooth and creamy. A delicious beer, a pleasure to drink.

0.5 l bottle my mum brought from Linz, thanx. It poured murky pale yellow body with medium sized head. Fine aroma of banana and some cloves. Flavor is quite thin, watery, but still pretty fine, with all what a Weizen should have, like some subtle fine estery notes. So, although a bit watery it has a medium body. Finish was quite long, nice and more complex than flavor. Pretty good Weizen which becomes better with every sip you get. Still, with more body would be even better, but...

Bottle. Banana, clove, wheat malt aroma - hint of vinegar. Hazy yellow color with small head. Banana and sour wheat malt flavor. This bottle a bit past its prime but still can tell this is a well made Hefe.

500ml bottle. Hazy yellow color Creamy and yeasty, displaying some excellent Wit characteristics,,,,hold up, this one is clearly labeled as a White Beer under the Weisse, not a Hefeweizen. Perhaps a little heavier hopped than most White Ales, but not overboard. A great beer.
