Aroma of citrus and light spice. Hazy amber gold color with a white head lacking retention. Near medium body with mild carbonation. The flavor is a bit yeasty with some citrus, and arguably a bit of clove. Something puts a light bite on the tongue. Pretty clean. Not your typical banana hefe. More towards a very lightly spiced witbier. Pretty refreshing.

Cloudy peach color, just a skimming of foam by settle time....smells a bit sour mixed with some clove, not very appealing, a twinge of orange as well...creamy and light with the same sour taste, not bad quite palatable in fact...haven’t had many, if any Austrian beer, so I don’t have much to go on, but its decent...sediment present

Bottled(500ml). -Nice hazy yellow coloured, medium sized white head, yeasty banana nose. The taste is wheaty, fruity and yeasty with notes of sugar. Quite ordinary weizen.

Bottled, as Grieskrichner Weisse Hefetrüb, shared with and courtesy of ozujsko (thanks!) Poured a misty apricot colour with a small to medium sized white head that went away fast. The nose is yeasty, lactic, some tiny banana and a bit of lemon. Ok enough. The taste is a bit crackery, yeasty, again some hints of banana, ok lemon and weak cardboard and apple. All in all, had better hefes, but this ends up beind kinda better than the sum of its parts.

Lightly hazy straw colour. The aroma is wheaty, lemony with a light hint of tart gueuzy fruitiness. Light body. Sparse flavour hints of lemon, icing sugar, wheat. Finishes watery and sugary.

Slightly hazy golden coloured body with a very short-lived white head. Aroma of pale malt, strong yeast, spices and even some straw. Medium-bodied; Strong yeastie flavour with wheat, coriander seed and some grass noticeable. Aftertaste is earthy, mellow and refined - pretty nice finish to a decent beer. Overall, nothing amazing, but not a bad beer by any means. I’d reach for this if I was hot and wanted a smooth german slightly unfiltered wheat. I sampled this 500 mL bottle purchased at Oliver’s Beverage in Albany, New York on 18-July-2007.

500ml bottle - Pours hazy yellow with a thin head and has a good citrus yeast aroma. The taste is similar with a slight touch of spice. It has fine carbonation and a refreshing finish. Pretty good.

Pour is a bright gold with a foamy white head. Aroma is not very stong some lemon and cream. Flavor is slightly yeast and some banana and clove show up but very weak an nothing puts this one over the top.

Half-liter import bottle. Time for a break from Oktoberfests and pumpkin beers. Pours a cloudy orange with lots of bubbles, and a frothy head that quickly thins out. Clean bright weiss smell with a touch of banana and clove. Taste is a little over sweet, or perhaps extra malty. Brings in that banana, and a side of lemon spritz. A little better than average, but worth a try.

An hazy golden yellow weizen with a creamy lacing white head, classy and inviting. Nice aroma of lemon custard pie, and fruity esters. In mouth, a nice wheaty malt, with creamy mouthfeel, gum balloon, bananas and lemon. Medium bodied. Very good. Bought at BOTW August 2006, served in Weizen glass.
