Can 50 cl. Pours a clear pale yellow with a white head. Sweet lemon aroma. Light body, sugary sweet lemon notes - and that’s about it. The sweetness appears authentic, but it ain’t... 200111

18/02 0.5 l can Doggythedog brought from Graz, thanks for sharing! This one, like all others, poured pale yellow body with medium sized bubbly head. Fine aroma, lemon peel, not really artificial. Flavor is good for radler as well, moderately sweet sparkling lemonade with herbal spices and some bready beer, as well. Unfortunately, the aftertaste is really bad, cardboard, maybe of that herbs that went so good in flavor. Except that, I liked this one comparing to many others I’ve tried.

0.5l can found at a Zielpunkt in Graz, shared with heavy. They must’ve changed the recipe, used to be 45% beer and 55% lemonade and now it says 50/50. Poured a shiny yellow body pierced with large bubbles and carrying a thick white head. The nose seemed surprisingly natural... real notes of lemonade, even slightly herbal. The taste, however reveals its impressive array of sweeteners. Sweet, bready. with what might’ve been proper lemon turned into fakeish lemon drops by the sweeteners in the taste. Herbal once in a while. Bitterish sweetener aftertaste. It’s actually refreshing and not as bad as it might’ve been.

50 cL plastic bottle, comes as Schloss Radler. Pours clear and pale yellow with a lacing white head. Mild spiced and citric aroma. Sweet citric and vague flavour. Flat citric finish. Bland but not offensive.
