Bottle, 330 ml from de Bierliefhebber. Shared with Max and kajser27. Brown with beige head. Very nice coffee aroma, chocolate, malty, sweetish, some bitterness in finish. Medium bodied.

Bottle. Dark brown color, yellow-brown foam. Aroma: coffee, good sweet coffee, a little chocolate, bourbon, a little vanilla. Taste: soft coffee, chocolate, vanilla, bourbon, soft, very good, good balance.

Bottle @Luppolo Station (Rome). Nera, densa, impenetrabile, schiuma color cappuccino abbondante e persistente. Al naso note di caffè, cioccolato fondente, leggera liquirizia. In bocca è equilibratissima, rotonda, corposa. Una piacevolissima sorpresa!

Big buttery bourbonnyness. Smooth, with a lot of coffee, and bit of sweet vanilla from the wood. Very smooth, not super thick, but super drinkable. Creamy chocolate coffee booze. Lovely.

At a tasting, medium bubbly head, clear deep brown color with lots of reddish hues, aroma of aromatic coffee, mellow chocolate, hint of earthiness and a whiff of vanila, lots of chocolate in flavor with some coffee, alcohol, hints of umami and vanialla. alcojhol a bit too strong, Nice and enjoyable.

Bottle sample at a tasting at zvsn's place. Very dark brown to black, tan foam. Bourbon, vanilla, coffee, chocolate, roast, a bit ashy, sweet, some alcohol, full-bodied, rounded. Great stuff.

Keg at Brewdog Shepherds Bush, London. A black coloured pour with a medium beige head on top. Rich roasty, malty, coffee, bourbon aroma. Tastes rich, roasty, malty, coffee, chocolate, bourbon, vanilla, caramel. Slightly thin but incredibly drinkable and delicious.

Bottle (2018 edition) @ home. Black colour. Light brown head with reasonable retention. Aroma's: coffee/mocha, roasted, sweetish, some red fruit. Retronasal there's more (ground) coffee, sweetness and light sourness, roast, a bit alcohol. Flavor is light moderate sweet with roasty bitterness. Alcohol certainly feels higher than 8%. Medium bodied (more body than Cassian Sunset). Long roasted bitter finish. Pretty good.

Black coffee, chocolate malt, and dry hay aroma. Dark brown with minimal head. Moderately sweet coffee, chocolate malt, and mildly bitter dry hay flavor. Good body. Pretty good - on the sweet side.
