From tap at BeerTemple, Amsterdam. Strong coffee and bourbon, roasted malt, chocolate, espresso, booze. Medium sweet, bit boozy, full body with a somewhat sticky feel. Lovely.

Taster showing pitch black with sparse white foam.
The nose shows intense notes of espresso and mocha.
The palate is well carbonated and full bodied. Moderately sweet with intense notes of burnt toast and espresso. Moderate espresso bitterness on the finish.

Bottle from 2022, cellared and opened on 10/6/25. Pours black with small brown head that fades to a collar quickly. Overt roast and cold pressed coffee aroma and flavor. Harsh and bitter finish.

bottle, 2022 tasted 2025-09-29
wow. coffee in fact dominates the aroma, followed by bourbon and roasted malts, coconut peppery note that blends with the alcohol. faint 99% dark chocolate,
flavor is coffee , roasted malts, bourbon (faint) coconut, faint tartness from the coffee, faint licorice, very faint cake frosting (sort of aromatic vanilla ish)
quite interesting and not like the other bourbon county stouts i've tasted recently. more dry and less woody, certainly less bourbony. they managed to balance the beer even though the coffee is insane in this one. tastes good. perhaps a tiny bit watery for a strong imp stout. Very tasty indeed anyways.
Oily, a touch sweet, boozy. Kahlua, bourbon, dark chocolate, bready malts. Smooth and fairly rich, very nice.
Happeline, röstine, kohvine, magus. Ok
Malm May 2024 tasting - prominent coffee roast with notes of cocoa nibs, toasted brown sugar, nice full body and mouthfeel, solid coffee roasted and bourbon infused malty lingering finish. Opulent and satisfying.
