Draught. Pitch black colour with a small beigeish brown head. Aroma is lactose, some toasted, mild spicy and some alcohol tones to it. Flavour is lactose, some toasted tones, mild liquorice, alcohol and some mild bitterness. Boozy. And a bit messy too.

(Keg at St Urhos Pub Stout- ja portteripäivät 2019) The beer poured black. No head. Aroma had burnt malts, vineousness, liquorice and coffee. Palate was full bodied and warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, vineousness, sweetness, soy sauce, ash, liquorice and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, oily, burnt and bitter. A well done burnt brew with high ABV.

Tap at Beer Hunters. Opaque colour, tiny head. Sweet milky, toasted, hp sauce aroma. Medium-bodied. Toasted, milky, a bit vegetably flavour. Very very boozy. Not much substance.

Keg at Shilling in Glasgow. Black with a thin filmy head. Aroma is light, malty chocolate with an air of booziness. Taste is liquorice, malt, sweet chocolate, tangy fruit and a woody, spirits edge from the barrel aging. Not as rich as you might expect it to feel, which is a shame.

15/5/2018. Tap at Newcastle Tap. Pours black with an average sized tan coloured head. Aroma of liquorice, chocolate, mild coffee, lactose, roasted malt, dark fruits, nut and toffee. Medium to heavy sweetness, dominated by the sweetness liquorice and chocolate, with a light roasted bitterness. Full bodied, slick texture, very soft carbonation. Delicious!
