Bottle, danke an den Rhein. Cloudy red amber, big golden foamy head. Lightly tart, berrylike caramel malt aroma. Medium to light dry body, quite foamy mouthfeel. Fruit/berry entry, light melanoidin/caramel, but also licorice and fennel, earthy and citric hops come through over time. Seems very lightly infected, they currently seem to have issues. pleasant enough.

0.33 l bottle from 'Schürmanns Genusswelten', best before November 2022. A little hazy, deep reddish amber with a medium large, foamy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish-malty, gently fruity aroma of strawberry jam, caramel, some wet leaves and a touch of nuts. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, rather fruity taste of strawberry jam, caramel, nuts and some wet leaves, followed by a short, quite bitter, a little grassy finish. Medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Very aromatic for the style, rather fruity and hoppy as well. Nice!

330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, redd-ish, dark amber colour with average to huge, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, sulphureous head. Minimally waxy, fruity hoppy and minimally smoky, malty aroma, notes of red berries, strawberry, a touch of grilled watermelon. Taste is dry, fruity hoppy, minimally waxy, notes of red berries, slightly bready and minimally smoky, malty basis, hints of grey bread, some malty sweetness. Watery texture, dry palate, medium to coarse, prickly to lively carbonation. Slightly overcarbonated, not my preferred style anyway - OK.
